Our Story

Mid‑2024 — It all started

Manual meter readings and messy spreadsheets frustrated residents and managers alike—so a prototype was born.

July 2024 — Billing Prototype

Spring Boot backend began pulling CSV meter dumps and calculating slab‑based bills overnight.

Oct 2024 — First Pilot

Angular dashboard rolled out to the inaugural subdivision, slicing billing time from 10 days to 10 minutes.

Jan 2025 — Multi‑Tenant SaaS

Launched multi‑tenant architecture, onboarding our first DISCOM and a builder with 700+ sub‑meters.

Mar 2025 — NB‑IoT Integration

Device self‑registration went live, auto‑creating meters and pending connections in real time.

June 2025 — Full Onboarding Flow

Egrid completed branded onboarding, tariff configuration at subdivision level, and began emailing thousands of bills monthly.

Next up: predictive outage alerts, carbon‑footprint dashboards, and seamless solar / EV‑charging integrations.
